Getting Started
What do I need to provide to get started?
The basics are your logo, written content for each page, and any photos you want to use. If you don't have these ready, that's fine — we offer copywriting and can source professional stock photography. We'll send you a simple checklist after your discovery call so nothing gets missed.
Do I own my website?
Yes, completely. Your domain is registered in your name, your content is yours, and at handover you receive every login and credential. You're never locked in to us — if you ever want to take your site elsewhere, you can.
Is there a long-term contract?
No lock-in contracts. Hosting is billed monthly and you can cancel at any time. We'd rather earn your business every month by doing great work than hold you to a contract.
Design & Build
Will my website work on mobile?
Every site we build is mobile-first by design. We start with the smallest screen and scale up, so your site looks and works perfectly on phones, tablets, and desktops — without compromise.
I already have a website. Can you redesign it?
Absolutely. We can rebuild your existing site with a fresh design while keeping your domain, content, and SEO history intact. If your site is currently managed by another provider, just let us know — we coordinate the transfer and it's a straightforward process we handle regularly.
Do you use AI in your work?
Yes — we use AI tools to move faster on certain tasks like drafting copy and generating layout ideas. But every piece of work is reviewed, refined, and signed off by a human before it reaches you. AI handles the heavy lifting; we handle the quality.
Content & Changes
How do I update my website content?
Your site comes with a simple content management system (CMS) that lets you edit text, swap images, and add new content without touching any code. We walk you through it at handover, and it's designed to be intuitive enough that anyone on your team can use it.
Can you write the content for my website?
Yes. Copywriting is available as an add-on and is worth considering if you're not sure where to start. Good copy does two things: it speaks directly to your customers and signals relevance to Google. We'll quote you separately based on the number of pages.
What if I want more pages or changes down the track?
We're here for the long run. Additional pages, design updates, new sections — all of these can be scoped and quoted at any time. Existing clients get priority turnaround. Just send us a message and we'll get back to you with a quote, usually within one business day.
Can you connect my website to other tools and systems?
Yes. We can integrate your site with a wide range of external tools — booking systems, CRMs, email marketing platforms, payment gateways, and more. Integrations are scoped individually and quoted based on complexity, so get in touch and we'll let you know what's involved.
How does payment work?
We charge a one-off build fee upfront to get started — this covers the design, development, and launch of your site. One month after launch, your monthly hosting and support fee kicks in. That's it. No hidden costs, no surprises.
