Getting a new roof is a significant project, but it shouldn't be a stressful one. Here's exactly what the process looks like when you work with us.
Step 1: Free inspection and quote
We visit the site, inspect the full roof from above (not just from the ground), and discuss your options. We'll recommend the right material for your home, budget, and local weather conditions. You'll receive a fixed-price quote by email within 24 hours.
Step 2: Materials ordered and job scheduled
Once you accept the quote, we order your materials and lock in a start date. Most residential replacements take 1–3 days on-site depending on roof complexity and size. We'll confirm exactly how many days before we start.
Step 3: Strip and inspect
On day one, the old roofing is carefully removed. We inspect every batten, truss, and the substrate beneath before laying anything new. If we find unexpected issues — damaged timber, substandard substrate — we'll show you and discuss options before proceeding.
Step 4: Installation
New underlay goes down first, then battens (if required), then the roofing cladding. Flashings, ridging, and all penetrations are sealed to manufacturer specs. Every fastener is driven to correct torque — over-driven screws are one of the most common causes of premature failure.
Step 5: Clean-up and handover
All old material is loaded and removed from site. We run a magnetic sweep of the surrounding area for nails and screws. You'll receive your LBP paperwork, product warranties, and a final walkthrough with the lead roofer before we leave.
Most homeowners tell us the process was far less disruptive than they expected. The roof will be watertight each night — we never leave an open building.
